Virtual Cable achieved important recognitions during the event organized by the most prominent technological association in Spain.
The UDS Enterprise desktop and application virtualization technology integration project at the El Ejido City Council has won in the category of “Digitalization of the Workplace“.
The @aslan Association announced yesterday that the project of Virtual Cable in the City Council of El Ejido is a finalist in the “Digitalization of the workplace” category of the ASLAN Awards. These awards have rewarded for 13 years the efforts of companies and public bodies for the implementation of new technologies to improve citizen services, cost optimization and efficiency.
Virtual Cable, manufacturer of UDS Enterprise, is the first VDI software development company to become part of the @aslan Association. The decision to join this group responds to the company’s commitment to helping companies and society in general to improve their efficiency and productivity by promoting the adoption of new technologies.
“We are at a time of utmost importance for the digital transformation of organizations. The role of desktop virtualization is key to ensuring business continuity, improving security and providing ubiquitous access to work tools. As experts in these solutions, we joined @aslan to contribute our knowledge to promote best practices and get the most out of this technology,” says Félix Casado, CEO of Virtual Cable.
For yet another year, the @aslan association has recognized the importance of UDS Enterprise as a catalyst for innovation and digitization of public organizations of various types. Several projects with this software for virtualization of desktops, applications and remote access have been selected as possible finalists of the prestigious ASLAN Awards for Digital Transformation in Public Administrations.
A third project with UDS Enterprise has been nominated for the ASLAN Awards for Digital Transformation in Public Administrations. The new candidate is the remote working system of the Andorran Police Force, which is based on desktop virtualization and remote access to computers located in police stations.
The annual event of the @ aslan Association has kicked off today. Under the slogan Digitization is the future, the 28th edition of this event revolves around the current paradigm shift, in which technology is a priority for companies, governments, and organizations. The digital transformation is the key on which all sectors are betting to increase their capacity for resilience, offer better services and face the significant challenges imposed by the pandemic.
In this scenario, mobility and security are fundamental aspects to guarantee business continuity most efficiently and productively possible. Praim and UDS Enterprise have joined forces to provide a robust, easy-to-implement, and cost-effective VDI solution for all organizations that wish to achieve maximum efficiency in managing their IT environments and offering the best service to their users. During ASLAN 2021, Praim will announce the advantages of the incorporation of the UDS Client in Praim Agile software, which comes natively on all its endpoints.
Tomorrow will kick off ASLAN2020 , the main event held in Spain for technology managers and technicians specialized in connected digital infrastructures. In this conference, the latest technological trends to accelerate the digitalization of organizations and develop new competitive advantages are presented. One of them is desktop and application virtualization with UDS Enterprise.
The two projects with the UDS Enterprise connection broker nominated at @asLAN Awards for Projects in Public Administration have entered the final phase. Yesterday we announced that the Virtual Desktop for Special Education Project with UDS Enterprise developed by the University of Murcia is eligible for the award in the category “Bridging the digital divide and sustainability”. Today we are pleased to announce that our application virtualization project in the Badajoz Provincial Council is also a finalist of this event, in this case in the category “Optimization and simplification of digital infrastructures”.
