Concern over climate change<\/strong> has increased considerably in recent years for very good reasons: The World Meteorological Organization has warned in its recent report<\/a><\/strong> that global warming will continue to produce more and more fires and worsen air quality. These motivations are enough for any company to take action and adhere to the United Nations Global Compact<\/strong>. This initiative brings together companies from around the world and establishes ten basic principles of action in different areas related to SDGs.
\nFor this reason, and coinciding with the celebration of the World Day of Action (SDG) yesterday, September 25, Virtual Cable<\/a> reinforces its commitment to sustainability by announcing its adherence<\/strong> to the initiative. This step is aligned with the values that have been part of the company since its inception. The Global Compact initiative establishes ten fundamental principles that seek to develop basic guidelines for action to improve the sustainability indexes in the member companies<\/strong>.
