The first award was received by Félix Casado, CEO of the company, during the Huawei Developer Conference 2023. The event, held in Dongguan, China, brought together Huawei’s global ecosystem. This recognition is a testament to Virtual Cable’s ongoing commitment to innovation and cloud expansion, specifically with Huawei Cloud, through the development of VDI solutions optimized for their platform based on UDS Enterprise.
Days before the summit in the Asian country, the Huawei Cloud Summit was held in Madrid, Spain. There, Virtual Cable was awarded as a Software Partner, thanks to the work carried out with Huawei’s team to offer the best digital workplace solution for this provider’s cloud. Additionally, during this technological event, the team from the company behind UDS Enterprise had the opportunity to present UDS Cloud on Huawei Cloud, the first desktop virtualization solution optimized for this hyperscale platform.
Virtual Cable, Chosen as a Source of Inspiration for Huawei Connect 2023
Virtual Cable’s collaboration with Huawei Cloud to drive cloud adoption in digital workspace environments will serve as inspiration to other manufacturers and industry technology partners during the Huawei Connect 2023 event, which will take place in Shanghai from September 20th to 22nd.
The Huawei Cloud Spain team has selected the Madrid-based company as its reference technology alliance to be virtually present at this important summit. Fernando Feliu, Executive Managing Director of Virtual Cable, will present the impact of the collaboration with Huawei in promoting innovation and cloud adoption in digital workspace environments.
“I would like to highlight the incredible value that this alliance is bringing to both companies. It allows us to offer our customers a premium option for deploying their digital workplaces in the public cloud, resulting in increased productivity and an enhanced user experience. At the same time, we help Huawei Cloud deliver reliable, secure, and sustainable cloud solutions, simplifying virtual desktop deployment. Together, we are committed to improving the security, productivity, and efficiency of digital workspaces in the cloud,” says Feliu.
Referring to the solution developed by Virtual Cable, the organization’s Executive Managing Director explains that “it stands out for its robustness and sustainability. It leverages Huawei Cloud’s stability, speed, artificial intelligence, and global coverage to ensure high availability of Windows and Linux virtual desktops. Our pioneering VDI solution allows customers from various industries to effortlessly create pay-per-use workstations that are accessible 24/7, from anywhere and on any device. All while maintaining the highest security standards, automation levels, and delivering significant cost savings.”
Huawei Cloud offers a rich ecosystem of resources and support, which is a valuable asset for customers. This is one of the reasons why Virtual Cable made the strategic decision to lead the development of the first customized VDI solution for this cloud platform.
