Virtual Cable, the developer of UDS Enterprise, has announced the incorporation of a new concurrent user licensing model for its digital workplace solutions. This innovation complements the traditional named user model and represents a further step in the company’s commitment to flexibility, efficiency, and adaptation to real market demands.
This new system offers several significant advantages in environments where not all users need to use the software simultaneously or constantly. It is a particularly attractive alternative for companies with multiple work shifts or where employees only need occasional access to their IT tools.
In these cases, concurrent licensing is much more efficient, as the same license can be used by different people at different times. Furthermore, concurrent licensing facilitates the transition from other workplace virtualization solutions on the market and optimizes implementation and management costs.
“The decision to incorporate this new model responds directly to the suggestions of our user community. We have listened to their needs and acted accordingly, with a simple pricing structure, without hidden costs or additional requirements, and adaptable to organizations of any size,” explains Félix Casado, CEO of Virtual Cable.
Virtual Cable now offers two compatible sales models (named and concurrent users), providing the freedom to choose the one that best fits each client’s operational and budgetary requirements. As is customary for the company, the solution is presented in a ready-to-run virtual machine format, without the need to purchase third-party operating systems or software.
Recommended prices for concurrent licenses
- From 1 to 700 users: €78 per concurrent user per year.
- From 700 to 1,000 users: annual flat rate of €54,600, equivalent to €54.60 per user per year.
In addition to this new option, Virtual Cable has reduced the prices of its 50 and 100 user subscriptions, improving the overall competitiveness of its solutions and allowing for identical costs between the nominal and concurrent models for fewer than 150 users. This decision allows each organization to freely choose the licensing that best suits its needs, without price being a limiting factor.
With this launch, Virtual Cable reaffirms its commitment to innovation, promoting a value proposition focused on cybersecurity, operational agility, sustainability, and resilience. UDS Enterprise is positioned as an adaptable, reliable smart digital workplace solution, ready to meet the current and future challenges of the digital transformation of the workplace.
