by | May 18, 2022

Fujitsu has signed a partnership agreement with Virtual Cable, a company specialising in the development of virtualisation software, to offer bundled VDI solutions, including its UDS Enterprise software and hardware from the Japanese manufacturer. Virtual Cable has more than 15 years of experience in virtualised environments, and millions of Windows and Linux virtual desktops are deployed every day with UDS Enterprise around the world.

This alliance is a significant boost for Modern Workplace and desktop and application virtualisation solutions to enhance the remote user experience and help companies in their challenge to provide a 24×7 home working desktop, available from any platform, anywhere, while ensuring maximum enterprise security. It is an OEM agreement that facilitates the purchase of Virtual Cable’s UDS Enterprise virtualisation software bundled with Fujitsu’s PRIMERGY servers and PRIMEFLEX hybrid cloud solutions. This provides a desktop and application virtualisation solution that is easy to deploy and implement, facilitating our customers’ digital transformation process and their adaptation to new post-pandemic scenarios related to the workplace.PRIMEFLEX is Fujitsu’s solution for the creation of private or hybrid cloud platforms that simplifies the process of deploying, operating and maintaining hyper-converged infrastructures, freeing up specialised resources that can focus on generating value for our customers’ users and business. Thanks to this agreement, Fujitsu will be able to offer an integrated solution for virtual workstation or application deployment, which will allow companies to offer a fast, convenient and efficient solution for remote working, regardless of the location of employees or the platform used at the workstation: PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone, thin client, mini PC…
As a complement to this solution, Fujitsu also has a wide range of professional user devices, such as tablets, laptops, desktop PCs and workstations, which cover any current need to offer a complete end-to-end virtual workstation solution.

For Jose Moreno, head of business development and pre-sales at Fujitsu, the agreement is “a tangible demonstration of Fujitsu’s customer-centric strategy to provide innovative solutions with the best combinations of proprietary products and market-leading alliances.”

Fernando Feliu, Executive Managing Director of Virtual Cable, said: “This partnership simplifies and facilitates the implementation of a workplace virtualisation platform for companies of all industries and sizes. It allows us to offer a turnkey solution with the guarantees of efficiency and security provided by a top-level hardware manufacturer such as Fujitsu.”

Virtual Cable was present on 18 and 19 May at the ASLAN 2022 Congress, where they presented the advantages of this joint solution with Fujitsu. Many attendees were interested in this packaged solution for desktop, application virtualisation and remote access to devices.

These solutions will be marketed through our official wholesalers Ingram Micro and Aryan Comunicaciones.
