The company developer of the UDS Enterprise VDI and vApp connection broker has reached an agreement with this high school for their students to do their internships in the pioneering company in the development of desktop virtualization software in Spain.The first group of students has already been in the headquarters of the organization, where they have learnt the basic fundamentals of the operation of a company and of virtualization within the field of information technology in general and, in particular, of the technology which makes possible the management and deployment of virtual desktops and applications.
They could check first-hand how the human team behind UDS Enterprise works, and how they develop, commercialize and offer technical support to the users of the connection broker.
“Students need to increase their motivation in the training field and make contact with the labor market, and the school appreciates all external commitment to their teaching and learning. If this is done with the interest, detail and affection with which the VirtualCable staff has done it, then a very desirable symbiosis is produced and we hope it is long-lasting“, commented Juan Carlos Hervás Hernando, Director of the IES Profesor Julio Pérez.
For his part, Felix Casado, CEO of VirtualCable, explained the main reasons that have driven them to start the collaboration with this high school: “We find it very interesting to be able to show all the internal mechanisms of a software developer company to the professionals of tomorrow. Our intention is to awaken their interest in virtualization technologies as application and desktop virtualization, which is undoubtedly one of the fastest growing sectors with the largest employment opportunities”.
Both the IES Julio Pérez and VirtualCable are very satisfied with the training received by the students. These organizations will keep on collaborating with the goal that students have a first real contact with the labor market, new technologies and take into account this option when deciding about their professional careers.
