After a deep and thorough selection process and after evaluating the more than one hundred proposals submitted by different companies and organizations from all sectors, the IDC Research Spain Analysis team has decided that our vApp project in this public administration deserves to be among the three finalists who will qualify for the first prize in this category.
This is an ambitious and innovative application virtualization project that is part of the process of digital transformation of the Jaen Provincial Council. The IT department of this organization has relied on UDS Enterprise, our desktop and application virtualization broker, to centralize the management and maintenance of the software used by 97 municipalities and 40 remote offices belonging to this agency. Thanks to this technology, they have achieved substantial time, resources and costs savings, while guaranteeing a 24/7 service with no downtime for app users and increase the security of their IT infrastructure.
Next Thursday, January 23 during the event IDC Predictions Futurescapes 2020 the winners in the four categories established by the team of analysts will be unveiled:

The IDC Innovative Company Awards are the only awards granted in Spain by an independent market research and consulting company. This year’s is its first edition, conceived on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the firm and coinciding with the IDC Predictions Futurescapes 2020 event, in which the technological predictions for this year will be announced . Crawford Del Prete, President of IDC, will participate in this event, together with the Head Analysts of the company and the managers of the most important technology companies in our country.
