The company VirtualCable, pioneer in the development of virtualization software in Spain, received on November 27 the Certificate of Excellence in Business Management (IeE) granted by the newspaper elEconomista and the company Informa D&B. This year only 50 companies of the more than 800 that underwent the audit process have obtained the certificate.

VirtualCable, the company that develops and supports UDS Enterprise, a connection broker for desktop and application virtualization, has successfully overcome the demanding parameters established for obtaining certification. This firm is the only software development company that has this seal of excellence.

The IeE certificate has been granted following the evaluation of more than 50 indicators of the company representative of its solvency, profitability, growth, internationalization, human resources management, corporate social responsibility, customer satisfaction/quality, innovation, commercial risk management and digitalization. The first 5 have a weight of 75% in the final grade.

During the certificate delivery ceremony, Juan Ortín, director of the DBK Sector Observatory of INFORMA, explained that “in order to obtain the Certificate of Excellence in Business Management, companies had to achieve a 50% or higher rating, having achieved average 62%”. VirtualCable has far exceeded this figure, obtaining a score above 80% in the Innovation, Solvency and Profitability indexes.

Félix Casado, CEO of VirtualCable, was in charge of collecting the certificate at an event held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Madrid. “We are very proud to have received this recognition, which makes us a benchmark in the software development sector in Spain and helps us reinforce our reputation and strengthen the trust of our customers and partners,” said Casado. “It shows that we are doing things well, so encourages us to keep on working with the dedication and professionalism that characterizes us,” he concluded.

For his part, the CEO of elEconomista, Pablo Caño, stressed that in this second edition “the increase in the number of submissions, which has quadrupled, demonstrates the value that companies grant to this certificate as a measure of their performance and instrument to boost its image inside and outside Spain. On the other hand, the fact that only fifty have achieved it makes clear the level of rigorousness applied”.
