UDS in the National Congress of Innovation and Public Services
This week marks the X edition of the National Congress of Innovation and Public Services (CNIS), a reference event for those interested and responsible for innovation in the administration of public administrations and services. Desktop and application virtualization is a key technology in the process of modernization and transformation of public organizations of all kinds. Therefore, UDS Enterprise will be present at this event.
vApp project with UDS in Badajoz, in the final of the @asLAN Awards
The two projects with the UDS Enterprise connection broker nominated at @asLAN Awards for Projects in Public Administration have entered the final phase. Yesterday we announced that the Virtual Desktop for Special Education Project with UDS Enterprise developed by the University of Murcia is eligible for the award in the category “Bridging the digital divide and sustainability”. Today we are pleased to announce that our application virtualization project in the Badajoz Provincial Council is also a finalist of this event, in this case in the category “Optimization and simplification of digital infrastructures”.

IDC recognizes the innovation of Jaen Provincial Council
The third vice president of Jaen Provincial Council and deputy of e-Government and Internal Regime, Africa Colomo, was “more than satisfied that the Provincial Council has been a finalist in the IDC Research Spain Awards to the innovative company 2020 as consequence of the adoption of the UDS Enterprise application virtualization software ”.

This plugin allows the integration of the VDI & vApp connection broker with the world’s most used Open Source e-Learning platform: Moodle. Thanks to this pioneering development, Moodle is the first online learning platform with direct access to virtual desktops.

As every year, UDS Enterprise will be present at the annual OpenNebula event. Our software is the only VDI and vApp connection broker certified as OpenNebula Ready and capable of publishing virtual desktops on this cloud orchestrator, one of the reasons why it always stars at one of the presentations in this conference.
