Virtual Cable, developer company of the VDI UDS Enterprise software, is present at the Madrid Tech Show, more specifically at booth D66 of the Cloud Expo Europe exhibition, where it is presenting its secure solutions for the virtualization of the workplace.

The Madrid-based technology company has announced several novelties at this event, among which a new family of specific solutions for cloud environments stands out. UDS Cloud brings with it all the functionalities and differential characteristics of UDS Enterprise, such as flexibility or compatibility with any technology. It allows the construction of secure, sustainable hybrid work environments adapted to the new needs of organizations, so that they can implement work spaces that are easy to use and totally personalized for their different user profiles. Also, they can access 24 x7, from any place and device to all their work tools.

Within this family we find two products optimized to deploy Windows and Linux virtual desktops on the two leading platforms in the sector: UDS Cloud on AWS and UDS Cloud on Azure. Both solutions have received compatibility certification from the manufacturers in question – Amazon and Microsoft respectively – and will be available on their marketplaces. They provide high levels of automation to all the processes involved in the configuration, start-up and maintenance of a VDI platform, tackling the complexity involved in managing a virtual desktop deployment on these platforms, which requires a multitude of manual tasks.

UDS Cloud on AWS has native support with the high-performance Nice DCV protocol, which allows us to offer the best experience, at no extra cost, to those users who require the use of virtual GPU, VoIP or have special needs due to the type of work they do, such as example the use of 3D graphics or the reproduction and editing audio and video.

For its part, UDS Cloud on Azure incorporates native compatibility with the Azure AD authentication system and with the main Microsoft tools. It adds an important extra layer of security when accessing Office 365 and is perfectly optimized for conducting audio and video conferences with Teams.

Both solutions share other advantages, such as an advanced calendar and task scheduling system that optimizes consumption, avoiding stressing the platform and obtaining significant cost savings. They also manage work overflows from one platform to another to guarantee the continuity of the service once the maximum contracted capacity is reached. Thanks to its efficiency and automation capacity, with UDS on AWS and UDS on Azure it is possible to have a secure and fully operational VDI platform in record time.
